Set the Camera Delay Timer on Your Galaxy Camera

Your Galaxy Camera provides you with a timer allowing you to capture photos on a delay, giving you time to get in the picture yourself. You can put the camera on a tripod or a flat surface, set the delay timer, and get in the picture before the photo is taken.

This article on setting the timer is for the Galaxy Camera, NOT for Galaxy Smartphones. For smartphones, refer to the user manual for your specific model.

Set the Camera Timer

The timer can only be set to delay 2, 5 or 10 seconds.

  1. Touch the Menu icon.

  2. Touch the Timer icon.

  3. Select a delay of 2, 5, or 10 sec.

  4. You are now ready to use the delay timer. Once you press the shutter button, the camera will begin counting down and then capture the image at the end of the selected delay.

Note: Alternatively, if you have activated the Voice commands option, you can simply say "timer" to activate a 10-second delay.
