What is Blocking mode, and how do I use it on my Samsung Galaxy Avant™?

The Blocking mode lets you disable incoming calls (except for those on the allowed list), notifications, alarms, and the LED indicator.

Turn On Blocking Mode

The Blocking mode lets you disable incoming calls (except for those on the allowed list), notifications, alarms, and the LED indicator. To turn on the Blocking mode feature, from the Home screen, touch Apps > Settings > Blocking mode. Touch the slider off to turn Blocking mode on. Place a check mark next to the features you would like to disable. Choose from Block incoming calls, Turn off notifications, and Turn off alarm and timer.

Set the time frame you would like the Blocking mode to be active, or select Always to keep it on constantly. To receive notifications, select Allowed contacts, and then select Custom to add specific contacts to the Allowed contact list.
