Any notifications you receive while your device is locked will display on your lock screen. By default, any sensitive content is hidden, but you can change the lock screen notification settings to show more information or none at all.

Screens and settings available may vary by wireless service provider and software version.

Change Notification Settings

  1. From the Home screen, touch Apps Apps Icon.
  2. Touch Settings Settings Icon.
  3. Touch the DEVICE or PHONE tab.
Note: To switch to the tab view, touch Menu Menu Key > Switch to tab view.
  4. Touch Sounds and notifications .
  5. Scroll to the Notification section and touch Notifications on lock screen to choose the notification behavior while your screen is locked. Select Show all content or Hide sensitive content, or select Do not show notifications to turn off lock screen notifications completely.
