Using Wi-Fi on Your Galaxy Camera

Wi-Fi is a wireless connectivity feature that lets you connect Wi-Fi enabled devices to share information or to connect to the internet.

Turning Wi-Fi On and Off

Open the Notification Panel by swiping your finger from the top of the screen to the bottom. You will see the Wi-Fi icon at the top of the panel. You can touch the icon to turn Wi-Fi on or off. When Wi-Fi is on, the icon will appear green, and your device will scan for and connect to any known access points (access points you have previously connected to).

Connect to a Wi-Fi Network

  1. Open the Notification Panel by swiping your finger from the top of the screen to the bottom, and touch Settings > Wi-Fi.

  2. Access point device names and security requirements of detected Wi-Fi devices display under Wi-Fi networks. Touch the access point, commonly known as the network, you want to connect to.

  3. Enter a wireless password, if necessary, and touch Connect.

Manually Add Your New Network Connection

  1. Touch Add Wi-Fi network.

  2. Enter the Network SSID. This is the name of the access point you are connecting to.

  3. Select the Security setting of the access point you are connecting to. If you select a security setting that does not match your access point, you will not be able to connect.

  4. If secured, you will also need to enter your access point's password.

  5. Touch Save to store the new information and connect to the access point.
