Using Multi Window Mode on Your Galaxy Tab E NOOK
Multi window view lets you easily complete multiple tasks in one screen. For example, you can take notes while watching a video, or search the web and check your email messages at the same time. The most commonly used apps are available in the Multi window tray.
Using Multi Window View
Multi window view is not available for all apps.
Apps that support Multi window displays on a split screen. You can switch between the apps, adjust the size of their display on the screen, and copy information from one app to the other.
From any screen, touch and hold Recent apps.
Touch the second app to open in split view.
Touch an app to open in split view.
Touch the split bar in the middle to reveal the Multi Window icons.
Following options are available:
Switch windows: Switch locations between Multi window apps.
Drag and drop content: Move items between the app windows. Drag an item to share from one window to another. Some apps may not support this feature.
Maximize window: Open the selected window in full screen view.
Close app: Close the selected app.
You can also launch recently used apps directly into Multi window view:
Touch the Recent apps key.
Touch the second app to open in split view. You can also swipe right to view other available apps.
Recently used apps that support multi window view have a Multi window icon in the title bar. Touch the Multi window icon in the title bar to launch the app in multi window view.
Only apps that support Multi window have the Multi window icon.
To turn the Multi Window off, touch the screen of the app you want to turn off. Then, touch Back.
