Setting Up the Mail App on Your Galaxy TabPro S

With Windows 10 Mail account, you can sent up an Exchange or Office 365 account as well as other accounts such as Outlook, Gmail, or iCloud.

If you signed in to your Windows 10 computer with a Microsoft Account (Outlook.com, Hotmail, MSN, and Live), that account is automatically added to the Mail and Calendar apps and can't be removed. You can remove any secondary account that you added manually.

Set Up Email Account for the First Time

Select Start, Mail and then on the Welcome page select Getting Started.

Note: If you dont see the Welcome page and the app opens, go to Add Another Email Account below to set up your account.

On the Accounts page, choose Add account, and then depending on the type of email you want to add select your prefered email and enter the credentials for that account. Choose Sign in > Done and your data will start syncing as soon as your account is set up.

Note: When you open the app for the first time, you might be prompted to have the app to run in the background or not. You can change this setting at anytime in Settings.

Also, if you are not able to add your account using the steps above, try the steps in Add Email Account Using Advanced Setup below.

Add Another Email Account

You can add additional accounts so that you can work with other email accounts all in one place.

  1. Select Start > Mail > Add account.

  2. Select the type of the account you want to add and then enter the email address and password for that account.

  3. Select Sign in and Done.

Add an email account by using advanced settings

If you're not able to set up your new account with the automated process, you can use the Advanced setup option to add your account. See below for instruction.

You might, for example, receive a notification about your account not being found. Or you might be unable to add your account after a few tries.

Add Email Account Using Advanced Setup

  1. Select Start > Mail > Add account

  2. Scroll down and select Advanced setup. Choose your account type. If you are not sure what type of account you have, check with your Internet Service Provider (ISP).
