Galaxy Tab S2 - How do I connect to Wi-Fi on my Samsung Galaxy Tab S2?

If you are concerned about mobile data usage charges, you can use Wi-Fi instead.

Connect to Wi-Fi

  1. From the Home screen, touch Apps > Settings > Wi-Fi.

  2. If necessary, touch the slider next to On to turn Wi-Fi on.

  3. From the list of available Wi-Fi networks, touch the desired network.

  4. Follow the instructions to connect to the Wi-Fi network (some Wi-Fi networks require passwords, some may not). Then, touch CONNECT.

  5. Once connected, the Wi-Fi icon in the notificationbar will appear. This means you are now connected to a Wi-Fi network.

Turn Off Wi-Fi

  1. To turn Wi-Fi off or on, open the Notification Panel by swiping from the top of the screen to the bottom.

  2. Tap Wi-Fi to turn it off. When Wi-Fi is on, your device will scan for and automatically connect to any previously connected access points, commonly known as the network.

Wi-Fi Options

  1. From the Home screen, touch Apps> Settings  > Wi-Fi.

  2. Touch MORE for the following options.

    • Add network: Manually add new network connections.

    • WPS push button: Connect directly with your wireless router using the Wi-Fi Protected Setup™ button on your router.

    • WPS PIN entry: Connect directly with your wireless router by entering the randomly generated PIN on your device.

    • Advanced: Open advanced settings.
