Galaxy Tab S2 - How do I change the lock screen notifications on my Samsung Galaxy Tab S2?

By default, any notifications you receive while your device is locked will display on your lock screen. You can change the lock screen notification settings to not display this content.

Screens and settings available may vary by wireless service provider and software version.

Change Notification Settings

  1. From the Home screen, touch Apps  > Settings  > Lock screen and security.

  2. Touch Notifications on lock screen.

  3. Select from Show content or Hide content, or select Do not show notifications to turn off lock screen notifications completely.

  4. Touch the slider next to an app to turn off the notification.

Turn Off Application Notifications on Lock Screen

You can turn off lock screen notifications for individual applications.

  1. From the Home screen, touch Apps  > Settings  > Lock screen and security.

  2. Touch Notifications on lock screen.

  3. Touch the slider next to the app for which you want to turn the notifications off . All notifications, including sounds and vibrations, will be turned off for this app.

  4. You can also touch the slider next to All apps to turn off  lock screen notifications for all apps. Touch the sliders for individual apps to turn them back on.
