Clear App Data/Cache on Your Galaxy Tab A

To delete Internet browser history, cache, and cookies, follow the steps below.

Clear App Cache

  1. From the Home screen, touch Apps > Settings.

  2. Touch Applications > Application manager.

  3. Swipe to the ALL tab.

  4. Touch an app to clear the cache.

  5. Swipe down to touch CLEAR CACHE.

Clear App Data

Clearing app data will reset the application to factory default settings. All personal settings, such as bookmarks and saved passwords, will be deleted.

  1. From the Home screen, touch Apps > Settings.

  2. Touch Applications > Application manager.

  3. Swipe to the ALL tab.

  4. Touch an app for which you want to clear the cache.

  5. Touch CLEAR DATA.

  6. Review the information about deleting app data and touch CLEAR.
