Backing Up and Restoring Data for Your Gear Fit 2

The Samsung Gear application lets you back up and delete all of your personal information from your Samsung Gear S. This feature lets you ensure your data is removed before sending the device in for replacement or repair, properly disposing of the device, or giving the device to a friend or family member to use.

Screens and settings available may vary by wireless service provider and software version.   Requires Samsung Gear app.

  1. Open the Samsung Gear app on your mobile device. Make sure your Gear Fit 2 is connected to your mobile device.



  2. Touch Settings.



  3. Touch Back up and restore.



  4. Touch Back up data to back up your Gear Fit 2.



  5. To restore data, touch Restore data. Your Gear Fit 2 will be restored with the latest backed up data.
