How do I Take Screenshots on My Samsung Galaxy On5? (SM-S550 and SM-G550)
You can take screenshots to capture what is displayed on your screen. Once captured, the screenshots will be saved into your photo gallery automatically.
The available screens and settings may vary by wireless service provider and software version.
Using Device Keys to Capture Screenshots
To capture the screenshot of the displayed screen, press the Home key and the Power/Lock key at the same time. When done correctly, the screen will flash as it makes a camera shutter like sound and a screenshot icon will appear on the top of your screen.
Viewing the Captured Screenshots
The screenshot can be viewed immediately through the notification panel by selecting Screenshot captured. You can also touch SHARE or DELETE under the screenshot to take action directly from the Notification Panel.
To view your screenshots at any time:
From the Home screen, navigate to Apps > Gallery.
Your Gallery consists of various sorting options (Time, Albums, Events, Categories). If your sorting option is other than Time, a Screenshots folder will appear automatically where you can access your screenshots.
Sharing Screenshots From Your Gallery
The share icon may vary depending on the carrier of your device.
- From your Home screen, touch Apps.
- Touch Gallery and select the photo you would like to share.
- Then, touch Share and choose where you would like to share the screenshot.
