When your battery is running low, or when your device is taking a while to charge, follow the steps and tips below to get the most out of your battery life.

Battery Basics

Ways to charge your battery properly and safely:

  • Use only the supplied Samsung USB/charging cables and avoid third-party accessories to charge your phone.
  • Ensure the USB/charging cable is connected securely and is not being blocked by your phone cover or case.
  • Make sure the battery or charging indicator appears on the device's display when the USB/charging cable is connected.
  • Use the outlet on your wall instead of your computer for best results.
  • Disconnect the device from the USB/charging cable once the battery is fully charged.
