Connect to Wi-Fi on Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge
Find a hotspot? Turn on your Wi-Fi and connect to a Wi-Fi network to save your mobile data usage charges. In case you didn't know, Wi-Fi is a wireless connectivity feature that lets you connect Wi-Fi enabled devices to share information or to connect to the internet. If you'd like another way to connect devices to your phone, you can use Bluetooth.
The available screens and settings may vary by wireless service provider and software version.
Connect to Wi-Fi
Stream music, browse the web, shop online...whatever you want to do, start doing it with Wi-Fi and save your data. We'll walk you through getting connected.
If you are not connected to Wi-Fi, make sure you check your Wi-Fi password and try again.
Navigate to Apps > Settings.
Touch Search, then search for and select Wi-Fi.
Touch your Wi-Fi network.
If required, enter the password and then touch CONNECT.
If a password is not required, you can simply touch CONNECT.
After Wi-Fi is connected, the Wi-Fi icon will appear in the status bar.
Turn Wi-Fi On/Off

To access your Wi-Fi, open the Notification Panel by swiping down from the top of your screen.
To turn the Wi-Fi on or off, touch Wi-Fi.
After your Wi-Fi has been connected, your device will automatically scan and connect to any previously connected network.
