Using Apps/Games on Your 2017 UHD TV

Your new UHD TV offers access to many exciting apps and games. The steps below can help you get started.

Installing an App/Game

1. Press the Home button on your remote.

2. Navigate to Apps.

3. Select the app you want to install. The detailed information screen will appear.

To search for a specific app, select the Search icon on the top right.

4. Select Install.

You can view your installed apps in the Settings screen.

Launching an App/Game

After you have downloaded the apps you want, now it is time to try them out.

1. Press the Home button on your remote.

2. Navigate to Apps.

3. Select the app you want to launch.

Locking and Unlocking Apps/Games

When an app is locked, it will require users to enter in the TV's PIN every time the app is accessed. To Lock or Unlock an app, follow the steps below.

1. Press the Home button on your remote.

2. Navigate to Apps.

3. Select Settings on the top right.

4. Select the app you want to lock/unlock.

5. Select Lock or Unlock. The app will be locked or unlocked.

The default PIN is 0000. To change the PIN, navigate to Settings > General > System Manager > Change PIN.

Removing an App/Game

You can remove apps that you no longer want and free up memory space.

1. Press the Home button on your remote.

2. Navigate to Apps.

3. Select the Settings on the top right.

4. Select the app you want to delete.

5. Select Delete.

6. Select Delete again.

App Icons

The icons below appear within the selected app's icon and indicates the following:

The app is installed on a USB device.
The app has a password.
The app is installed.
The app needs to be updated.
The app supports Smart View.
