Connect Your 2017 UHD Blu-ray Player to a Wired Network

Connect your UHD Blu-ray player to your network with an ethernet cable to use features that require an Internet connection. Enjoy browsing the web, using apps, and much more!

The UBD-M7500 only supports a Wired network connection.

Connecting to a Wired Network (Automatic)

  1. Connect an Ethernet cable to the LAN port of the Blu-ray player.

  2. Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to a LAN port of your router or modem.

  3. From the Home screen, select Settings > General > Network > Network Settings.

  4. Select Wired in the Network Type screen.

  5. The Blu-ray player detects the wired connection, verifies the network connection, and then connects to the network.

Connecting to a Wired Network (Manual)

  1. Connect an Ethernet cable to the LAN port of the Blu-ray player.

  2. Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to a LAN port of your router or modem.

  3. Select IP Settings.

  4. Select the IP Settings field and then select Enter manually.

  5. Enter your network's parameters.

    You can get the network parameters from your internet provider.

  6. When you are finished entering all the parameters, select OK.

  7. The Blu-ray player verifies the network connection and then connects to the network.
