Using Windows Recovery on Your Galaxy Book (Wi-Fi)

If you run into an issue with your Galaxy Book, use Windows Recovery to reset the Galaxy Book and reinstall Windows. It'll be like getting a brand new device!

Make sure to back up important apps and data to an external storage device before reinstalling Windows.

Windows Recovery

Back up your data and settings, and restore your device to a previously backed up point or to the factory default.

  1. Navigate to Start > Settings > Update & security.

  2. Select Recovery.

  3. Select Get started under Reset this PC.

  4. The following options are available:

    • Keep my files - Removes all apps and settings, but keeps your personal files.

    • Remove everything - Removes all apps, data, and settings.
