Change Secure Lock Settings on Your Galaxy Note5

Samsung Galaxy Note5 Change Secure Lock Settings

The Lock screen can be adjusted to provide even greater security for your phone.

The available screens and settings may vary by wireless service provider and software version.

Change the Secure Lock Settings

Screen lock type must be set in order to change Secure Lock Settings.

  1. Navigate to Apps > Settings.

  2. Touch Search, and then search for and select Secure lock settings.

  3. The following secure lock settings are available:

    Secure lock settings options
    • Lock Automatically: When the screen is turned off, it will lock after a set period of time.

    • Lock Instantly with Power Key: When you turn off the screen by pressing the Power key, the screen will be locked.

    • Auto Factory Reset: The phone will automatically reset to factory default settings after 15 incorrect attempts to unlock your phone.

    • Lock Network and Security: While your phone is locked, the network and security-related functions will also be locked. This will make it easier to locate and protect your phone in case it is lost or stolen.
