Take Screenshots on Galaxy S6 Active
Want to share a funny conversation or some random thing you ran across online? Taking a screenshot is one of the fastest ways to do it. They save to your Gallery automatically for easy access at any time.
The available screens and settings may vary by wireless service provider and software version.
Use Device Keys to Take a Screenshot
To capture a screenshot of the displayed screen, press and hold the Home and Power keys simultaneously.
When a screenshot is taken, the screen will flash as it makes a camera shutter sound and a Screenshot notification will appear in the Notification bar.
View the Captured Screenshots
The screenshot can be viewed immediately through the Notification Panel.
To take action directly from the Notification Panel, swipe down the Screenshot captured notification.
To open the screenshot, touch the Screenshot captured notification.
To view your screenshots at any time, navigate to Apps > Gallery.
Your Gallery consists of various sorting options (Time, Albums, Stories, Categories). If your sorting option is not set to Time, a Screenshot folder will appear automatically where you can access your screenshots.
