Disable Auto Rotate on Your Galaxy Tab S2
The Auto Rotate feature uses an internal sensor to detect the rotation of your Galaxy Tab S2 and adjusts your screen to either portrait or landscape orientation accordingly. If you're using your Galaxy Tab S2 lying down on the sofa on a lazy Sunday, turn off Auto Rotate, or if you want to watch a video full screen, turn on Auto Rotate.
The available screens and settings may vary by wireless service provider and software version.
To open the Notification Panel, swipe down from the top of the screen.
To turn off the rotation, touch the Auto Rotate icon in the Quick Settings Panel.
Depending on the screen orientation when touching Auto rotate, the icon changes the screen to either Landscape or Portrait.
