Disable Auto Update Apps in the Google Play Store on Galaxy S6 Active

By default, most downloaded apps are automatically updated when a new update is available. If you want to review the details of app updates, go ahead and disable automatic updates. To learn how, to see the guides below.

Disable Auto Update for All Apps

  1. Navigate to Apps > Play Store.  

  2. Touch Menu.  

  3. Swipe to and touch Settings.  

  4. Touch Auto-update apps.  

  5. Choose Do not auto-update apps.  

Disable Auto Update for Specific Apps

  1. Navigate to Apps > Play Store.  

  2. Touch Menu.

  3. Touch My apps & games.   

  4. Select an app and then touch More Options.  

      

  5. Deselect Auto-update.
