Set a Lock Screen on Your Galaxy Tab S3 (Verizon)

Choose and set up a screen lock that best fits you to increase security and personalize your Tab S3. Take your security one step further and set up your Secure Folder.

The available screens and settings may vary by wireless service provider and software version.

Change the Screen Lock Type

  1. Navigate to Apps > Settings.

  2. Touch Search, and then search for and select Screen lock type.

    The following screen lock options are available:

    • Swipe: No security

    • Pattern: Enter a personal pattern

    •  PIN: Create a personal PIN

    • Password: Set a personal password

    • None: No screen lock

    • Fingerprints: Set up fingerprint security

Secure Lock Settings

  1. Navigate to Apps > Settings.

  2. Touch Search, and then search for and select Secure lock settings.

    Secure lock settings is only available after you set up a screen lock.

  3. To change the secured lock time, touch Lock automatically.

  4. Choose the desired Lock automatically.
