View and Manage Devices Connected to Connect Home

With your Samsung Connect Home, managing your devices around the house has never been so simple. Even if you have multiple devices connected, you can easily view and adjust all of them via the SmartThings app. For example, you can set a usage time for your children so they can't access the web late at night. Now you have less to worry about.

View and Manage Devices

There are all kinds of settings you can use with Connect Home, like boosting the network speed for your favorite devices.

On your phone, navigate to and open the SmartThings app. Then, touch Menu, and navigate to the Location where the Connect Home is saved. Select your Connect Home from the list of devices. Then, touch the button next to Devices on network; the button may say something different depending on how many devices you have connected. For example, it might say 2 DEVICES or 3 DEVICES.

From here, you can see a list of devices that are currently or previously connected to your Connect Home. Select your desired device from the list. The following options will be available for you to adjust:

  • Highest bandwidth priority: If you have multiple devices connected to the network but always use one device more than the others, you can make its connection faster. Touch the slider next to Highest bandwidth priority to make it faster.

  • Restrict usage time: You can restrict access to the internet at certain times, such as during dinner or after bedtime. Learn how to set time restriction on a device .

  • Add port: You can add a port to remotely access your device from a different network. Learn how to use port forwarding .
