Connect Your Soundbar to the TV Using HDMI

HDMI ARC (Audio Return Channel) is the coolest TV feature that you're probably not using. ARC (Audio Return Channel) lets TVs with ARC capabilities and your soundbar transfer audio back and forth using one HDMI cable.

If your TV does not support ARC, you will need to connect your TV using an Optical or Aux connection.

Connect Using HDMI

  1. Power on your TV and soundbar.

  2. Connect one end of an HDMI cable into the HDMI IN (ARC) port on your TV. For this demonstration, a Samsung TV with a One Connect Box will be used.

  3. Connect the other end into the HDMI OUT (TV-ARC) port on your soundbar.

  4. TV ARC appears on the soundbar display and the TV will output audio through the soundbar.

    • If the TV's sound is inaudible, press Source on the Soundbar remote or soundbar and set to D.IN mode. The soundbar will display D.IN and then change to TV ARC soon after.

    • If TV ARC does not appear on the soundbar display, make sure the cable is connected to the correct port.
