Transfer Files from Galaxy Tab E to a MicroSD Card

Feels like your tablet is getting a little crowded? You can transfer files to a microSD card to free up space and make sure you save what you need. You really can have it both ways.

The available screens and settings may vary by wireless service provider and software version.

Move Files to a MicroSD Card

Keep your files while saving room on your tablet by transferring files to a microSD card. Follow the steps below to move your files and documents.

This function is not supported if the microSD card is not inserted in your tablet.

  1. Navigate to Apps > My Files.

  2. Navigate to the file you want to move and then touch and hold it.

  3. Touch More Options.

  4. Touch Move. To copy and paste, touch Copy.

  5. Touch SD card.

  6. Navigate to the location you want to save your files.

  7. Touch DONE.
