Charge the Gear IconX (2018) Earbuds
Make sure you fully charge the battery before using your Gear IconX earbuds for the first time, or when they have been unused for long periods of time. When the battery is completely discharged, it needs at least 20 minutes to turn on. All it takes is a few quick steps and you’re on your way to jamming to the beat.
If the earbuds do not power on immediately after opening the box, the battery may be discharged. Use only Samsung-approved chargers and cables. Unapproved chargers or cables can cause the battery to explode or damage the earbuds.
Charge the Earbuds
Charging your Gear IconX earbuds is a snap in three easy steps. Follow along and see for yourself.
To open the charging case, press the Cover open button. Check the direction of each Gear IconX earbud and insert them into the left and right slots of the charging case, and then close the charging case.
Two indicator lights are located on the left and right sides of the charging case’s open button and show the charging status of each earbud, respectively. Check out this chart for a breakdown on what each light means:
|Continuously on red||Charging|
|Continously on green||Fully charged|
|Flashes red||Charging disabled due to low charging case battery, abnormal temperatures, or an error connecting to charging contacts.|
