Camera quality is great…but…

Owned this for about a year and in March 2024 google duo is no longer supported. This camera now can only be used for exercise or hand gestures to change inputs.

Doesn’t connect to built in SmartThings
No longer connects to the web
What a shame.

No longer of use, no web integration

I purchased this Samsung camera with the intention of using it primarily for laptop-based video calls and general communication—but I’ve been quite disappointed.
	•	No Native Video Calling Support: Shockingly, the camera doesn’t support basic video calling apps like Skype, Microsoft Teams, or Google Meet. This is a major limitation in today’s remote-first world, and it severely reduces the product’s practicality.
	•	Poor Laptop Compatibility: I’ve been using it with a laptop, and the clarity isn’t up to the mark. The image is soft and doesn’t perform well even in decent lighting conditions.
	•	Lack of Purpose: Without the ability to use it for video calls or get reliable image quality, I struggle to understand the use case for this camera. There are far better alternatives in the same or even lower price range.

Unless there’s a very specific use case you’re targeting that doesn’t involve communication or video clarity, I wouldn’t recommend this product.

Wish they had a video calling

I use it for video calls between me and the red cross team. It works great and has never failed me once. Everyone can see me perfectly! I definitely recommend this for entrepreneurs or remote workers.

This camera has crystal clear pictures n video.

Bought a new Samsung Smart Monitor for almost $1,000 and this camera will not connect to Windows 11. In this day and age, I should have to spend two days trying to get a new camera to connect. I'm not a Luddite...much experience.

Avoid-Won't Connecrt to my Windows 11

I love the slimfit camera so much very sleek design and it takes great images! Very small and takes up very little space compared to other companies products of the same type. The product sets up so easily too!

Amazing samsung product

The camera quality is incredible crystal clear and it was super easy to mount and the stability impeccable, I'd recommend this to my friends💛

Super useful.

This product is great thr quality is very sturdy since I dropped it and it didn't break the camera quality is also very good the video or audio doesn't buffer when in a video and it's not even thst extensive either would recommend to other buyers

This product is really great the quality is good

Love the product grate fit for what a t i need it for

Works grate

I am definitely Using for virtual business experience and needs to complete team performance and experience. I do like to very much and would consider carrying around without problems Can not make any difference between others

Very compact, easy to movement.

This camera is an amazing addition. The setup was so easy even I could install it all by myself with no help! Only took maybe 20 minutes to get it up and running. Samsung is 100% my go to for any devices and this camera is yet another product from them that I am completely satisfied in every way with. If your looking for a product anything like this one, Samsung is the way to go without any doubt!

This camera is amazing!

* Customers praise crystal clear pictures, vibrant detail, and excellent video quality across all lighting conditions
* Most reviewers commend seamless plug-and-play connectivity and effortless integration with compatible ecosystems
* Many highlight the intuitive magnetic mounting system and sleek design that simplifies installation
* Reviewers consistently describe the experience as reliable, user-friendly, and superior to alternatives
* A few mention occasional software freezes, though these issues remain isolated and infrequent
