What is Samsung's warranty policy regarding camera batteries? 

The warranty period for camera batteries is for 6 months and the warranty service extends to carry in and postal returns of products. For your camera battery please refer to following warranty guidelines:

• The warranty period starts from the date of purchase by the customer and is transferable only between end users.
• Warranty periods and warranty services may be specific to products.
• Warranty covers manufacturing defects only.
• Samsung Electronics is liable to cover the cost of repair and/or replacement of the product only.
• The warranty is invalid if the defect is caused by misuse, neglect, tampering or incorrect adjustment.
• Warranty is invalid if any alterations and/or repairs are conducted by an unauthorised person.
• The warranty is invalid for repair due to damages caused by incorrect installation.
• If the serial number is missing then the warranty is not considered valid.
• Warranty is not valid if the damage is caused by equipment which has been attached to the product and has not been recommended by Samsung.
