How Do I check the amount of data I've downloaded this month on my Samsung Galaxy S3?

To check the amount of data you have downloaded on your Galaxy S III please follow the steps outlined below:


1.    From the Home screen go to Apps then tap Settings.


2.    Tap Data usage.




3.    The default cycle is set from the start to the end of the current month. The graph shows how much data has been used so far in the month, with written text below the graph giving an approximate figure of data used.




4.    You can view a list of apps and the data quantity used by each one by scrolling down.  




5.    You can view how much data you have used in the previous five months by tapping on Data usage cycle





Changing the cycle period


1.    You can re-designate the cycle period of data by tapping Data usage cycle > Change cycle.





Setting mobile data limit


1.    You can set a limit on the amount of data you download by tapping the Set mobile data limit check box.




2.    You can set the data limit by sliding the red limit bar up or down until your reach the desired gigabyte level. You can also slide the warning yellow bar up or down to determine when you receive a warning message about being close to your maximum data usage.
