How to enable and disable Reactivation lock on Gear S3?



Reactivation lock uses the Samsung account to block anyone from reactivating the Gear without you permission. This Reactivation lock is valid until deactivating the lock by using the Samsung Account even if you have reset the Gear S3.

NOTE: If you want to sell or return the used Gear S3, Reactivation lock must be deactivated prior to selling or returning. Otherwise, the Gear S3 device will not be set up.


Step 1: On the Home screen, tap Apps.

Step 2: Tap Samsung folder.



Step 3: Tap Samsung Gear.


Step 4: Tap Find My Gear.



Step 5: Tap on Reactivation lock.


Step 6: Tap on the toggle switch to turn On or Off.
