How to transfer music files from mobile device to Samsung Gear IconX

To transfer music files directly from a mobile device going to Samsung Gear IconX, follow the steps below:

Step 1: Insert the earbuds to the charging case and close it.




Note: If the earbuds are not place in properly, the Gear IconX Manager program will not recognize the earbuds.

Step 2: Plug the USB connector to the mobile device.




Step 3: Connect the charging case using the USB cable to the mobile device.  




The USB connector must be plugged-in first to the mobile device. If the charging case is connected first to the USB connector, the mobile device won’t recognize the earbuds.


■ Transferring data with the USB connector will consume battery power consumption. Make sure that the battery is fully charged before transferring data. If the battery is low, it may interrupt data transfer.


Step 4: Open Samsung Gear app and tap SETTINGS.





Step 5: Tap Music.





Step 6: Tap Manage tracks.





Step 7: Tap Add.



■ You may also go to Memory on the Samsung Gear app and go to Manage tracks to transfer music files.



Step 8: Select the music file and tap ADD. Music files are saved in the MUSIC folder of Samsung Gear IconX.
