Step counts on the Gear Fit2 do not increase while pushing a specific machine

Last Update Date : Mar 22. 2018

The Gear Fit2 counts the number of steps you have taken and measures the distance travelled. Also, the device will not count steps while pushing devices such as:

■ Lawn mower
■ Cart without movement of hands
■ While riding a car
■ Bicycle

It’s intended concept is to only calculate steps while walking.

Note : You may experience a brief delay while the app monitors your steps and then displays your step count.
You may also experience a brief delay before the pop-up window indicates that your goal has been reached.

If you use the steps tracker while travelling by car or train, vibration may affect your step count.
