What restrictions are there in place when using KNOX?

App restrictions in the container:

S Browser  — The multi-window function is not supported.
Air gestures — Only the Air View is supported.
Google Search bar widget, Google Text-to-Speech — Not supported.
Safe Space
Password needed to enter KNOX container
After timeout, password must be re-entered.
Data cannot be pulled off the device using regular means like USB or SD card.
Restrictions to protect security
  • Cannot copy/paste data outside the container
  • Cannot move files outside the container
  • Cannot move browser bookmarks, browsing history, call logs, S Planner events and so on, outside the container
