My DVD-VR330 Is Recording in Spanish.

Last Update Date : Apr 10. 2018

On the DVD-VR330, the [AUDIO/TV MUTE] button has different functions depending on the mode of the remote control.

When the remote is in TV mode, pressing [AUDIO/TV MUTE] will mute the TV.

When the remote is in VCR mode, pressing [AUDIO/TV MUTE] will cycle between Stereo, Mono, and SAP (Second Audio Program). Some television stations use SAP to broadcast programming in Spanish, and the DVD-VR330 will record in Spanish if the Audio setting is set to SAP.

If the unit is inadvertently recording in Spanish, put the remote in VCR mode and use the [AUDIO/TV MUTE] button to select either Stereo or Mono.
