Properly leveling your Samsung washing machine is essential for minimizing unnecessary vibrations and noise. Here's how you can effectively level your washing machine without the need for a level tool.

Note: The instructions provided are relevant to washers sold in Canada. Please note that available screens and settings might vary for washing machines sold in other countries.

1 Begin by selecting the instructions applicable to your specific washer type:

 • For front load washers: Gently try to rock the washing machine by placing your hands on opposite sides. If it wobbles in any direction, use the leveling feet. Turn them clockwise to lower the washer or counterclockwise to raise it.

Turn the leveling feet clockwise to lower it or counterclockwise to raise it

 • For top load washers: Open the lid and fill the tub with water just below the pulsator level. If the pulsator is centered, the washer is level. If not, adjust the front leveling feet. Rotate them clockwise to raise the washer or counterclockwise to lower it.

If the pulsator is centered, the Samsung washer is level; if not, adjust the front leveling feet
2 Once the washer is leveled, lock the setting by tightening the locking nut on each leg. Ensure it's flush against the bottom of the machine to secure the leg in place. Confirm that all feet make contact with the floor.
3 Test the washer's level by running a small load. If rocking persists, repeat the steps.
4 For applicable models, don't forget to consult the next section for leg ring installation instructions.

Leg rings are necessary if they're included with your washer and if you're using a drip pan. These rings elevate the washer's height, preventing motor contact with the drip pan and reducing noise.

1 Gently lift the washer and turn one leveling foot counterclockwise to detach it.
2 Place a leg ring on the leveling foot and rotate the ring counterclockwise.
Place the leg ring on the leveling foot, and then turn the leg ring counterclockwise
3 Reinsert the leveling foot into the washer, then turn it clockwise until fully retracted.
4 Repeat these steps for all leveling feet to ensure the washer doesn't rub against the motor or create grinding noise.

Note: If the bulge in the middle of the drip pan exceeds 5/8 inches (1.5875 cm), the motor may still rub against it. In such cases, opt for a different drip pan.
