Galaxy Tab S4 - Pair a Bluetooth Device to your Tablet (SM-T830)

Bluetooth lets you connect your Tablet to so many different devices, like speakers, headphones, or even other tablets. Turn your tablet into a concert stage by connecting to Bluetooth speakers, or forgo the tangled mess of headphone wires and pair with Bluetooth headphones.

Screens and settings available may vary depending on your Canadian wireless service provider and your software version.

Got a Samsung phone you want to pair with? You have two ways to do it: from your Settings or the Notification Panel.

Connect to a Bluetooth Device

From the Settings, search for and select Bluetooth. To turn on Bluetooth, touch the slider, and then select the device you want to connect to.

Want another way to get connected? To open the Notification Panel, swipe down from the top of the screen. To open the Bluetooth menu, touch Bluetooth and then select the device you want to connect to.

When you're finished using Bluetooth devices, it’s a good idea to turn off Bluetooth to save battery life.

Turn Off Bluetooth

To disable Bluetooth, from Settings, search for and select Bluetooth. To turn off Bluetooth, touch the slider.

A quicker way to turn off Bluetooth is from the Notification Panel. Swipe down from the top of the screen, and then touch Bluetooth.

Unpair from a Bluetooth Device

From Settings, search for and select Bluetooth. Touch the Settings icon next to the desired device, and then touch Unpair.
