Telecommunication Systems Division developed TDX-1, a fully digitized telephone switching system, with its own technology in 1985. This event initiates the telecommunication history of Korea. After the first commercialization of CDMA and WCDMA, we launched the world's first commercial service of Mobile WiMAX, the next generation mobile communication service, in 2006.
