Create App Folders on Galaxy Smartphones

Create App Folder

 

Drag and Drop

 

 

1. On the Home/Apps screen, tap and hold an app, and drag it to another app


2. Drop the app when a folder frame appears around the apps. A new folder containing the selected apps will be created.

3. You cab enter a folder name
    To change the folder color, please tap 3 > 4


4. On the Home/Apps screen, a new folder is created.

    To add more apps to the folder, please tap and hold an app and drag it into the folder.

Select Multiple Items

 

 

1. Tap and hold an app until an app setting menu appears, and 

 

    Tap "Select multiple items"


2. Select apps to add into a folder, and

    Tap "Create folder"

3. You can enter a folder name
    To change the folder color, please tap 3 > 4


4. On the Home/Apps screen, a new folder is created.

    To add more apps to the folder, please open the folder and tap "ADD APPS"

Move Apps from Folder

 

 

 

You can either tap and hold an app inside a folder, and tap "Move from folder" on the app setting menu, or

tap and hold an app, and drag the app outside the folder frame.

Delete Folder


1. To delete a folder, please tap and hold the folder, and tap "Delete folder" on the app setting menu

 

2. Tap "Delete folder" to confirm deletion

3. The apps inside the folder are available on the Apps screen after deletion of folder.
