Galaxy S6/ S6 edge: How do I create folders on Home screen and Apps screen?

Create Folders on Home screen

 

1. On the Home screen, tap and hold an app, and then drag it to another app


2. Drop the app when a folder frame appears around the apps. A new folder containing the selected apps will be created.

3. Tap the area above the horizontal line and enter a folder name
    To change the folder color, tap 3 > 4


4. On the Home screen, a new folder is created.

    To add more apps to the folder, tap and hold another app and drag it to the folder

Create Folders on Apps screen

 

1. By Galaxy S6’s UX simplification, you can create the folders more easily. 

    On the Apps screen, tap EDIT.


2. Tap and hold an app and drag it to another app

 

3. Drop the app when a folder frame appears around the apps.

    A new folder containing the selected apps will be created.

4. Tap the area above the horizontal line and enter a folder name.

    To change the folder color, tap 5.

5. On the Apps screen, a new folder is created.

    To add more apps to the folder, tap and hold another app and drag it to the folder

 

 

 

Remove Folders


1. To remove an app from folder

 

2. Tap a folder

3. Tap and drag an icon to remove from folder to empty space


4. Now, an app is removed from the folder. If there is only one app in the folder, the folder will also be removed.

 

5. Tap DONE when finished
