* Use only demagnetised tools that are specifically designed for small electronic repairs, as most electronic parts are sensitive to electromagnetic forces.

* You can use existing demagnetised tools that you own to perform repairs.

* Use tweezers made with plastic or rubber as sharp, metallic tweezers can damage parts and components

Tip

Prepare a multi-compartment case to separately store screws and other parts after removing them from the device

2 Disassembly

Case rear and Rubber feet

Remove 4 Rubber feet using Opening tool

Remove 4 Screws using Screwdriver

Tip

Keep each set of screws in a separate container to avoid misplacing them

Be careful not to damage Case rear with excessive force when lifting

Attach Suction cup to the center and gently lift to remove Case rear

*It may be easier to attach Suction cup to the left edge and gently lift, and then repeat with the right edge in order to remove Case rear.

* If replacing Case rear only, pause at this stage and move on to 4-12 for reassembly.

 

Battery

Check the location of the Battery

When disassembling, be careful not to damage or impair the function of Battery with external force

Use Tweezers to remove the tape from Battery connector

* Keep the tape after removal so you can reuse for reassembly.

Gently tuck Tweezers under the cables and pry upwards to disconnect Battery connector

* Battery removal not required to replace Screen - simply disconnect Battery connector.

Remove 4 Screws using Screwdriver

Gently lift out and remove Battery

* If replacing Battery only, pause at this stage and move on to 4-11 for reassembly.

 

Screen

Fully open the hinge 180° and lay the device flat with Screen facing downwards

Check the location of the Screen connectors

* Battery removal not required to replace Screen - simply disconnect Battery connector.

Begin with left Screen connector

Be careful not to break the levers

Use Opening tool to pry up left Screen connector lever

and disconnect the cable

Detach Screen cable by lifting away

Repeat with right Screen connector

Remove 6 Screws using Screwdriver

Remove 3 Screws using Screwdriver

Gently lift up and remove Screen from Case front

Speaker

Check the location of the Speakers

When disassembling, do so slowly and gently to avoid breaking or damaging Speaker connectors

Disconnect left Speaker connector using Opening tool

Antenna

Check the location of the Antennas

Check the location of the  Antenna connectors

Slowly and gently lift the connectors, lifting the connectors in any direction other than upwards at 90° may result in damage

Use Opening tool to disconnect left and right Antenna connectors from WLAN

* Lifting in any direction other than upwards at 90° may result in damage

by slowly lifting upwards, creating a 90° angle at the head

* Lifting in any direction other than upwards at 90° may result in damage

Check the location of the 5 guide clips

Pry up left Antenna cables from the guide clips on Main & Sub PBA

Remove left Screw using Screwdriver

Gently lift and remove left Antenna

and gently disconnect the connector using Tweezers

Remove 5 Screws using Screwdriver

Remove Touchpad by gently pushing from underneath

Remove the tape using Tweezers

* Keep the tape after removal so you can reuse for reassembly.

Pry up lever using Opening tool

and disconnect the cable

Check the location of the SSD

Grab both ends of SSD and remove

* Set aside the Second SSD screw after removal to reuse for reassembly

Use Opening tool to lift and remove left and right ends of Main to sub cable

When assembling, avoid breaking or damaging Antenna connectors by handling slowly and gently

Press down slowly, creating a 90° angle at the head

until you hear a locking sound to connect left and right Antenna cables

Check the points where the guide clips are located

Position the left Antenna cable according to the routing path

and press down to ensure that the connection is firmly established

Install Battery on the device

Check the location of the 4 Screw points

Use Tweezers to press down the Battery connector so that it fits

Place the tape over Battery connector

*If the included tape is lost, make sure the connector is firmly connected without the adhesive before moving on to the next step.

and push down on each side until firmly in place
