How do I connect my Samsung Galaxy Note 3 to my computer for tethering?

You can share your Galaxy Note 3 device's mobile data connection with a single computer, effectively using your phone as a modem.

Note: using your mobile device as a tethered mobile access point is data-intensive. It is recommended you contact your network operator and ask questions about availability with your plan or you may incur extra fees for going over your data allowance (if you have one as part of your plan). You may also require a separate tethering contract.

1.    From the Home screen touch Menu  > Settings  > Connections  > Tethering and portable hotspot  .

2.    Connect your device to your computer using the USB cable that came with your device.

3.    Touch USB tethering to mark the checkbox and activate the feature. When the feature is on a green check mark will appear. The USB tethering icon  will display at the top of your screen.
