How to install a Samsung dryer

Following step by step instruction guide video and install your Samsung dryer. Please be careful not to injure yourself during procedure. In addition, we recommend you read thoroughly all the important warnings and safety instructions written in the user manual.

Note: Genuine Samsung stacking kit must be used. 

Required Tools

A. Vice pliers

B. Jig

C. C-Ring Jig

D. Socket set with 6” extension (8, 13, 14 mm)

E. Phillips screwdriver

F. Diagonal Cutter, Long nose pliers

  • Gently place a dryer on a level area where the door can open widely.
  • Use a level and check the levelness of the dryer.
  • The dryer must plug into a properly grounded outlet.
  • Insert the drain hose into the hole (A).
  • Assemble the other side of the drain hose into the drain.

Note: 

1. Make sure to place the end of the drain hose lower than 90 cm from the bottom of the dryer.

2. You can drain the condensed water by connecting the accessory hose (long drain hose) to the drain-outlet directly.

3. Install the end of the drain hose so that it is at least 70 mm away from the drain.

4. Install the drain hose end in a way so that it is not submerged. Water on the outside may flow back inside the product.

5. If the drain hose is too long, use the provided cable tie to straighten the hose.

  • Disconnect the attached drain hose (long drain hose) from the hole (A).
  • Remove the hose from the temporary fixture (B) and insert it into the hole (A) to assemble.

Note: 

1.Insert the drain hose to the end and fix it.

2.Please thoroughly dry the water in the hose well and store the long drain hose.

3.Please be careful when installing the drain hose because it may cause a defect due to a mistake.

  • Remove the door packing from the door.
  • Loosen and remove the 3 screws on the bottom. Remove the screws on the inner glass holder of the door.
  • Loosen and remove the 3 screws on the top of the holder.
  • Detach the glass holder.
  • Remove the hinge screws, and then detach the door.
  • Remove the upper screw on the left of the door frame, and then insert it in the corresponding right hole of the door frame. (Do not remove the lower bracket screws.)
  • Remove the 2 bracket screws on the right frame, and then remove the 2 holder screws on the left frame.
  • Insert the 2 removed left bracket screws in the right frame as shown. 
  • Remove the 1 bottom screw on the left frame, and then insert it in the corresponding hole on the lower left.
  • Insert the lever holder on the left frame, and then tighten the 2 holder screws.
  • Remove the screw from the back of the door hinge and assemble it with the screen. (You cannot assemble the bolt screw on the door hinge unless you change the position of the screw.)
  • Insert the door hinge in the opposite position of the door frame, and then tighten the 2 bolt screws.
  • Insert the inner glass holder in the door cover that has been installed on the right frame.
  • There are two types of Stacking Kits.
  • When installing the machine in parallel, you need to select the right kit for your washing machine.
  • There are two colors of the drawer-type stacking kit.
