Displaying your mobile device screen on the TV
Do you want to display your favorite images, videos, presentations, and games from your smartphone on a larger screen? You can connect your smartphone to a Samsung screen through Smart View, Tap View, or Apple AirPlay. Follow the methods below to do it.
Before trying the recommendations below regarding your solution, make sure to check that your device software and related apps are updated to the latest version. Please check how to update your mobile device software in the following order.
Step 1. Go to Settings > Software update.
Step 2. Tap Download and Install.
Step 3. Follow the instructions on the screen
Method 1. Using Screen Sharing (Smart View).
You can connect the screen of your Samsung mobile device wirelessly and view it on the big screen of your TV by following these steps:
Step 1.On your mobile phone, drag down the top bar of the Screen.
Step 2.Select Smart View.
Step 3. Select the TV you want to connect to it.
Step 4. GSelect "Allow" on the TV Screen.
Be aware that you need to activate the Smart View feature on your Tv before you mirror the screen of your device.

You can connect the screen of your Samsung mobile device wirelessly and view it on the big screen of your TV by following these steps:
Step 1. Go to Settings and select General.
Step 2. Select External Connection Manager.
Step 3. Select Device Connection Manager.
Step 4. Select Device list.
Step 5. Then from the list select the device you want to connect and change the status to allow.
To Cancel Smart View
Press the Return Button on the remote control.
Method 2. Using Tap view.
Tap View is a handy feature for screen sharing, it allows you to mirror your phone with just one tap on the TV with no need to access a Wi-Fi network or data.
In order to use Tap View, you need to turn on the Tap view feature in the SmartThings app on your phone.

Step 1. On your phone, open the mobile SmartThings app, and then tap Menu icon (the three horizontal lines).
Step 2.Tap Settings.
Step 3. Swipe to Tap view. Tap the switch to turn it on.
Step 4.Bring your phone closer to the TV, and then tap the Allow phone presence detection notification when it appears on your phone screen.
Note:
· Make sure that Smart View is allowed on your TV. (Settings > General > External Device Manager > Device Connect Manager > Access Notification).
· Tap view is compatible with any 2020 Samsung TV, excluding the T5300, T4300, and T4000 models.
Method 3. Using Apple AirPlay.
Use AirPlay if you are an iPhone or iPad user, and make sure the Apple AirPlay Settings option is enabled by following these steps:
