What does the color of Galaxy S4's LED indicator means when it lights up or blinks?

Galaxy S4 device has an LED indicator in the top-left corner on the front of your device. The LED indicator notifies you of a missed Notification, Low battery, when the device is Charging, or when you are Voice recording.


Please check below the different scenarios in each color discussed.


· Pulses in multicolor blue while the device is turning on or off

· Blinks blue for a missed call, message, or other notification

· Blinks blue when recording voice



·         Glows red when the device is connected to a charger and is charging.

·         Blinks red when the device is connected to a charger but there is a problem with charging.

·         Blinks red when the battery is low.



·         Glows green when the device is connected to a charger and the battery is fully charged.



You can edit which types of events your device should notify you of. From the Home screen, touch Menu > Settings > My device > LED indicator . Mark the events you would like your device to notify you of.





Note: The LED only activates when the screen is off.

Note: The Galaxy S4 displays also other colors depending on the application that provides notification. Green, Red, and Blue can provide the colors required by the application that notifies.
