1. How did this collaboration come about?We were tired of being restricted to offering our customers just either white, black or silver fridges. We wanted to bring customisation into the home appliance category, and wanted customers to be in control of how their home appliances suit their interior.

2. What is the process for painting?Samsung partnered with the Resene technical team for the best painting approach. We apply a powder coat over existing Cotta-type panels which is metal in its construction. This process starts with one layer of primer followed by two layers of Resene finishing coats.

3. Where are the panels painted?All panels are custom painted in Auckland, NZ with our affiliated paint house.

4. Do I have to use Samsung’s affiliated paint house or can I get my panels painted anywhere?We recommend to use Samsung’s affiliated arrangement to ensure continuity and quality control.

5. Can I choose a different finishes?All panels are powder coated and have the option of Matte or Satin (10% gloss).

6. Can I colour match?Yes, we encourage colour matching as a way to have a seamless experience in your home. Please discuss with your kitchen designer or do research into the closest Resene colour. Please note that your panels are powder coated on a metal product so expect a very fine discrepancy vs a wooden or synthetic product.

7. Can I choose more than one colour for my panels?You can only choose one Resene colour to paint all four of the French door panels.

8. I’ve got previous painted panels already however my aesthetics have changed, can I get my panels repainted? Or do I have to buy new panels?We have priced the panels in such a way that it would be more efficient to purchase new panels from www.samsung.com/nz/

9. How do I clean the painted surface?We recommend to clean with a warm soapy cloth and wipe all residue off with a microfiber cloth. Do NOT use any abrasive cleaners such as JIF or citrus / chemical based cleaners.

11. What is the lead time made up of?From checkout we dispatch your selected panels to our affiliated painter and painting process begins. Full process can take up to four weeks, including quality control. Once completed, panels are packaged up and dispatched around the country.

12. Can I cancel my order? / What happens if I change my mind?Unfortunately since each order is custom made, once order is placed this is final confirmation and no cancellations are possible.

13. What happens if there is a quality issue with my order?Please contact estore@samsung.com and we will attempt to resolve this within reasonable time.

14. Does this impact my appliances warranty?These custom panels do not impact your appliance warranty.
