Where can I find the serial number of my Smart Phone or Tablet?

Please note, this section is designed to give you basic product troubleshooting information, also refer to your user manual for more information.

If the device will not turn on, you are able to find the serial number on the rear of the phone if there is a non removable battery.
If the device has a removable battery this is located underneath the battery.

For devices on Android 9.0 (Pie) follow the steps below: 
- Open Settings on your device
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and Select About phone
You will find the Serial Number located at the top of the page. 
 
For devices on Android 4.4 (Kitkat)
- Open Settings on your device
- Select the General tab
- Scroll down and select About phone
- Tap on Status
- Scroll down and you will find the Serial number of the phone.
  1. Open the Phone app on the device
  2. Dial *#06#

 

This will automatically generate a pop up on your device showing the Model and Serial number. For the Serial number look for the number under SN

You are able to find the Serial Number of your device on the physical device itself. This can be located in a different section depending on the model device you have.

 

For Mobiles with a sealed back:

- Make sure any case's have been removed from the device

- Turn the phone over so it is screen side down

- The Model Code, Serial Number and IMEI are printed at on the back of the device at the bottom.   

 

For mobileswith a removeable back:

- Make sure any case's have been removed from the device

- Remove the back cover of the device and take the battery out

- The Model Code, Serial Number and IMEI are printed on a sticker on the bottom portion of the device.
