How to use Smart select feature with S Pen

Step 1: To capture content, such as an image or a website, remove your S Pen, and then tap the Air command icon to open the Air command menu.

Step 2: Tap Smart select.

Step 3: Select a desired shape icon on the toolbar such as Rectangle, Lasso, or Oval. You can also create GIFs by tapping GIF or tap Pin to screen to transfer the content to your Home screen.

• Pin to screen: allows you to resize a particular area and Pin to your screen.
•  GIF:  allows you to create GIFs.

Step 4: Drag the S Pen across the content you want to select. Tap Extract text to copy or share the selected area. You can also use the following options:

• Extract text: Identify and extract text from the selected content. 
• Auto select: This will automatically change the appearance of the selected area.
• Draw: You can write or draw on the selected area with the S Pen if you need to write down a note or reminder.
• Share: This allows you to share the selected area with others through Email, social media apps, and more.
• Save: The selected area will be saved in Gallery so you can access it later.
