Terms & Conditions

1.1  This Easy Mode Club programme (“Programme”), organised by Samsung Electronics Singapore Pte. Ltd. (“Samsung”), is an invitation-only experience designed to allow each participant ( “Participant”) to try out: (i) the new Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold8 or Galaxy Z Flip8 (the “New Galaxy Foldables”, and each, a “New Galaxy Foldable”); and (ii) either a Samsung Galaxy Watch9 or Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra2 (the “New Galaxy Watches”, and each, a “New Galaxy Watch”), for a period of 28 days (the “Trial Period”).

(For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, the New Galaxy Foldable together with the New Galaxy Watch received by each Participant hereunder shall be referred to collectively as the “New Devices”.)

 

1.2  At the expiration of the Trial Period, each Participant will have the option to: (i) purchase and keep the New Galaxy Foldable and/or the New Galaxy Watch at an exclusive discounted price; or (ii) return the New Galaxy Foldable and/or the New Galaxy Watch to Samsung.

2.1  This Programme is open to (i) Singapore residents aged eighteen (18) years and above as of 22 July 2026, (ii) who are, at the time of application, non-Samsung Galaxy users, and (iii) who possess a valid credit card (to be able to complete the payment authorisation as set out below).

 

2.2  Employees of Samsung, its affiliates, and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate in this Programme.

Announcement of Selected Participants Shortlisted  Participants will be contacted between 22 July 2026 – 8 August 2026, or from 14 August 2026 onwards.

The names of Selected Participants will be published on 10 August 2026 and 8 September 2026.
On-boarding & Collection of New Devices 23 July 2026 – 8 August 2026,
and 21 August 2026 – 6 September 2026
Trial Period 28 days from the date of Collection of New Devices

4.1  To participate in this Programme, each Participant must write and publish:

(i) three (3) testimonials on a Samsung-designated Reddit thread, sharing his/her experience using each of the New Devices during the Trial Period (each, a “Testimonial”); and

(ii) one (1) product review in respect of the New Galaxy Foldable only on Samsung.com (each, a “Review”),

where the Testimonials and the Review must reflect the Participant’s genuine personal experience and meaningfully reference his/her actual usage of the New Galaxy Foldable or (as the case may be) the New Galaxy Watch (including, but not limited to, its features and functions).

 

4.2  In the event a Participant fails to post a Testimonial or (as the case may be) Review within the stipulated timeframes set out below, Samsung will send such Participant a warning (each, a “Warning”). If a Participant receives a total of three (3) Warnings, such Participant will be disqualified from this Programme.

In the event a Participant gets disqualified from this Programme, such Participant will have to return the New Devices as set out in Clause 5.4 below. For the avoidance of doubt, a Testimonial published outside the applicable timeframe below will not count towards the Participant’s obligations under Clause 4.1.

4.3  By completing (i) at least six (6) Testimonials in total across the New Devices; (ii) one (1) Review for the New Galaxy Foldable; and (iii) one (1) Review for the New Galaxy Watch, by 5 September 2026 for Participants who collected the New Devices between 23 July 2026 and 8 August 2026, or by 4 October 2026 for Participants who collect the New Devices between 21 August 2026 and 6 September 2026, each Participant will be entitled to 40% off:

(I)  Tablets: Galaxy Tab S11 Series, Galaxy Tab S10 Lite, Galaxy Tab S10+, Galaxy Tab S10 FE Series, Galaxy Tab A11+;

(II)  Buds: Galaxy Buds4 Series, Galaxy Buds3 FE; and/or

(III)  Accessories: For Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold8, Galaxy Z Flip8, Galaxy Watch9, Galaxy Watch Ultra2.

 

4.4  In addition to the foregoing, each Participant may choose to participate in specially-organised events by Samsung in connection with this Programme and receive additional incentives, experiences and/or privileges. For the avoidance of doubt, the activities stated in this Clause 4.4 are optional and are not required to complete this Programme.

5.1 For collections taking place from 21 August 2026 onwards, each Participant must complete a Buy-Now-Pay-Later payment authorisation (“BNPL Payment Authorisation”) at the Samsung Experience Store located at VivoCity for the exclusive Discounted / Programme Price of each of the New Devices (as set out below), payable in instalments (each, an “instalment”).

5.2 The first Instalment (the “First Instalment”) will be temporarily held upon collection of the New Devices.

Apart from the First Instalment, the BNPL Payment Authorisation will comprise a total of two (2) or three (3) additional Instalments (collectively, “Remaining Pre-Authorised Instalments”) depending on the payment plan (each, a “Payment Plan”) selected by each Participant. Certain Payment Plan may incur non-refundable processing fees which, if applicable, each Participant will bear at his/her own expense.

 

5.3 At the end of the Trial Period, each Participant shall either return or keep:

(i) the New Devices; or

(ii) keep either the New Galaxy Foldable or the New Galaxy Watch, and return the other, in which case the payments to be made by such Participant hereunder will be handled separately.

 

5.4 If a Participant elects to return the New Galaxy Foldable and/or the New Galaxy Watch, the New Galaxy Foldable or (as the case may be) the New Galaxy Watch will be assessed by Samsung in its sole and absolute discretion as follows.

For any New Galaxy Foldable returned, the Participant must also return the original box and all original in-box components, comprising:

(I) the New Galaxy Foldable;

(ii) Data Cable; and

(iii) Ejection Pin.

For any New Galaxy Watch returned, the Participant must also return the original box and all original in-box components, comprising:

(i) the New Galaxy Watch;

(ii) Fast Wireless Charger
 

Grade Condition
A Used but with no defects
B Device fully functional;
Up to three (3) minor surface hairline scratches and/or paint peels, but which do not interfere with device functionality;
No cracks or dents, bending or warping; and
W/ original charging cable
C and below Device has functional / aesthetic defect(s), but which can be repaired;
Up to five (5) significant visible scratches and/or dents or paint peels, but which do not interfere with device functionality; and
Minor dents, bending or warping on the body of the device, with no missing pieces, and which do not affect device functionality.

 

5.5 If a Participant elects to keep the New Galaxy Foldable or (as the case may be) the New Galaxy Watch, the First Instalment on hold will be released and paid to Samsung, and such Participant will also be charged for the Remaining Pre-Authorised Instalments.

Further, if a Participant elects to keep the New Galaxy Foldable or (as the case may be) the New Galaxy Watch, such Participant will have the exclusive option to purchase Samsung Care+ Lite (12-months) at 50% off Recommended Retail Price

 

5.6 Any Participant may withdraw from this Programme at any time during the Trial Period and shall return the New Devices as set out in Clause 5.4 above.

 

5.7 In the event:

(i) a Participant opts to return the New Galaxy Foldable and/or the New Galaxy Watch but fails to do so, the issue will be escalated to the relevant authorities;

(ii) a Participant is not responsive at any time during the Trial Period, refer to Clause 4.2 above;

(iii) a Participant does not fulfil and complete his/her obligations (as determined by Samsung in its sole and absolute discretion) as set out in Clause 4.1 above, refer to Clause 4.2 above; or

(iv) the New Galaxy Foldable and/or the New Galaxy Watch is/are stolen, misplaced or lost, the First Instalment on hold will be released and paid to Samsung, and such Participant will also be charged for the Remaining Pre-Authorised Instalments.

Samsung will retain ownership of each of the New Devices unless a Participant elects to keep the New Galaxy Foldable and/or the New Galaxy Watch allocated to him/her under this Programme in accordance with the terms hereof.

Samsung reserves the right to, in its sole and absolute discretion, disqualify any Participant suspected of fraud, tampering or non-compliance with these Terms and Conditions.

By participating in this Programme, each Participant consents to the collection, use, and disclosure of his/her personal data by Samsung for the purpose of administering this Programme. Refer to Samsung’s Privacy Policy at www.samsung.com/sg/info/privacy.html for more information.

Additionally, each Participant acknowledges and agrees that Samsung may use, reproduce, edit and share any Programme-related content (including photos and/or videos) and his/ her appearance, name, voice, likeness and/or any musical or sound effect (including, but not limited to, any quote) of or produced by him/her for marketing, promotional and internal purposes in any media, worldwide, without further notice.

Samsung shall not be liable for any claims, losses, or damages arising out of or in connection with participation in this Programme (including the utilisation of the New Devices).

Samsung reserves the right to amend or withdraw this Programme and/or these Terms and Conditions without prior notice.

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • 1) Who can apply?

    Easy Mode Club is open to Singapore residents aged 18 and above who are currently using a non-Galaxy smartphone. You'll also need a valid credit card to complete the required payment authorisation if you're selected.

  • Once applications close, we'll review all submissions and shortlist participants based on the programme criteria. Selected applicants will be contacted between 22 July and 8 August 2026, or from 14 August 2026 onwards. Selected participants will be publicly announced on 10 August 2026 and 8 September 2026.

  • If you're selected, you'll be assigned a collection slot between 23 July and 8 August 2026, or between 21 August and 6 September 2026. We'll confirm your collection appointment directly.

  • 1) What will I receive?

    If you're selected, you'll receive a Galaxy Foldable and a Galaxy Watch to use as your everyday devices for 28 days.

    Depending on your assigned device, you'll receive one of the following:
    • Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold8 or Galaxy Z Flip8
    • Galaxy Watch9 or Galaxy Watch Ultra2

  • We simply ask you to use your devices as you normally would and share your experience along the way.

    During the trial, you'll need to:
    • Post three testimonials on Samsung's designated Reddit thread.
    • Submit one product review for your Galaxy Foldable on Samsung.com.

    We encourage you to be honest—there are no right or wrong opinions. We just want to hear about your real experience.

  • Your submission windows depend on when you collect your devices. Please follow the row that corresponds to your collection date:

    Testimonials posted outside the applicable window will not count towards your required submissions. Your Samsung.com Review must be submitted by the applicable deadline above.

  • Throughout the programme, we'll also be organising optional community events where you can meet fellow participants, try new experiences and unlock additional rewards. Participation is entirely optional, but we'd love to have you join us.

  • 1) Do I have to buy the devices?

    No. That's the whole idea behind Easy Mode Club.

    At the end of your 28-day trial, you can:
    • Keep both devices.
    • Return both devices.
    • Keep one device and return the other.

    The choice is entirely yours.

  • When you collect your devices, you'll complete a Buy-Now-Pay-Later (BNPL) payment authorisation through one of our supported partners: PayLater by Grab, SPayLater or Atome. For collections taking place from 21 August 2026 onwards, the BNPL payment authorisation will be completed at Samsung Experience Store VivoCity.

    Your first instalment will simply be placed on hold while you're on the programme.

    If you decide to keep your device(s), your remaining instalments will be processed. If you return eligible device(s) in acceptable condition, the payment hold will be released and you won't be charged for the remaining instalments.

    Please note that some BNPL payment plans may charge non-refundable processing fees.

  • If you decide to keep your Galaxy Foldable and/or Galaxy Watch at the end of your 28-day trial, you'll be able to purchase them at the exclusive Easy Mode Club programme price.

  • As long as they're returned in acceptable condition (Grade A or B), you won't be charged. Devices returned with significant damage (Grade C or below) will be treated as kept, and the authorised payment will be processed.

  • 1) What other rewards can I unlock?

    You'll have the opportunity to unlock additional rewards throughout your Easy Mode Club journey. These rewards are optional and are not required to complete the programme.

  • 1) What happens if I miss a required submission?

    We'll send you a warning if you miss an applicable required submission window or deadline. A testimonial posted outside your applicable window will not count towards your mandatory submissions. Participants who accumulate three warnings may be removed from the programme.

  • Yes. If you decide Easy Mode Club isn't for you, you can withdraw at any time during the trial by returning your allocated devices in accordance with the programme terms.
