How to use the various modes of the washing machine?

Find the perfect washing course that suits your clothes

It is important to choose a suitable laundry course for your clothes in order to finish the laundry well. The following table below outlines the basic washing modes of Samsung washing machines. Using these courses properly will help to make your laundry dry much quicker and easier.

15' QUICK WASH

  • For lightly soiled items weighing less than 2 kg that you want to wash quickly.
  • (Use less than 20g of detergent. Using more than 20g of detergent may leave detergent residue. For liquid detergent, use a max of 20ml of liquid detergent.)

DAILY WASH

Use for everyday items, such as underwear and shirts.

SUPER ECO WASH

This program washes the laundry at a low temperature and allows you to obtain the best washing results with low energy consumption.

SUPER SPEED

Low temperature ecobubble cycle helps reduce power consumption.

DARK GARMENT

  • Featuring additional rinses and reduced spinning to ensure that the laundry is washed gently and rinsed thoroughly.

AUTO OPTIMAL WASH

  • Adjusts the amount of detergent and the cycle according to the load and the level of dirtiness.
  • (This cycle is best used with the Auto Dispense function.)

BEDDING

  • For bedspreads, bed sheets, bedding covers, etc. 
  • (Wash only 1 type of bedding and make sure the load weighs less than 2 kg for the best results.)

COTTON DRY

Cycle for general drying.

SYNTHETICS DRY

  • A low temperature drying cycle for heat sensitive garments.

AIR WASH

  • This course is useful for removing bad odors. 

59' WASH+DRY

Specifically, this is to quickly wash and dry for a small amount of synthetic clothes.

SYNTHETICS

For blouses or shirts that are made of polyester (diolen, trevira), polyamide (perion, nylon) or the like. 

COTTON

  • Course tor cottons, bed linens, table linens, underwear, towels or shirts.
  • (The washing time and the rinse count are automatically adjusted according to the load.)

OUTDOOR CARE

  • For outdoor clothes, skiwear and sportswear that are made of function materials such as spandex, stretch and microfiber.

DELICATES

  • For sensitive fabrics such as rayon, viscose and synthetics blended fiber.
  • (Please use liquid detergent for the best performance.)

RINSE+SPIN

  • Featuring an additional rinse process after applying fabric softener to the laundry.

WOOL

  • Specific for machine-washable wool for loads weighing less than 2 kg. 
  • The wool cycle features gentle cradling and soaking to protect the wool fibers from shrinkage/distortion. (A neutral detergent is recommended.)

ECO DRUM CLEAN

  • Cleans the drum by removing dirt and bacteria from the drum. Perform once every 40 washes with no detergent or bleach applied.
  • (Make sure the drum is empty and do not use any cleaning agents for cleaning the drum.)

Note:

  • SOAK Program: Select this function when you wish to wash your laundry by soaking it.
  • BLANKET Program: Large size laundry such as blankets and bed cover sheets.
  • Quick Program: Speed wash for light or less stained laundry.
  • CLEAN TUB Program: This function will keep your tub clean and sanitary.
