How to use Private Mode on Samsung Galaxy S5?

Use this mode to prevent others from using or accessing specific content without the need of any 3rd party Apps. You can activate this mode, save content to a specific location and then deactivate private mode to hide them securely.

Private mode is available for the applications of Gallery, Video, Music, Voice Recorder and My files.

How to enable Private Mode

1 Swipe down from the top of the screen
2 Tap on Private mode from the list of icons
3 Enter a pin code to enter Private mode for the first time
4 Alternatively, you can also access Private mode from Settings in App Screen

How to disable Private Mode

1 Swipe down from the top of the screen
2 Tap on Private mode again
3 Galaxy S5 will return to normal mode

How to add or remove files from Private Mode

1 Switch on Private mode
2 Search for photo or file to move to Private mode
3 Select More option (3 vertical dots)
4 Tap Move to Private
5 To remove an item from Private mode, first select the items you want to remove from private mode. Then, tap the more button and select Remove from Private. The selected items will no longer be secured or hidden
6 To view hidden items, tap My files on the Apps screen. If you select Private directory, all items added in private mode appear on the screen
