Groundbreaking microLED technology transforms production process for leading German media company
Kropac strives to create the most compelling, creative content and is always looking for new ways to shoot their movies and bring brands to life. Due to the ongoing pandemic, the movie industry is facing never before-seen restrictions which have halted travel to filming restrictions around the world. As a result, content creators are having to find new ways to shoot video content that does not require leaving the studio, but still delivers incredibly immersive experiences for audiences. The common solution within the filmmaking industry is to use a green screen and computer graphics technology – but this is expensive and doesn’t deliver a natural, refined image. Samsung’s groundbreaking Micro LED technology, The Wall, was the ideal solution to empower Kropac to bring their vision to life, creating a powerful partnership that enabled a future-thinking media company to go beyond the limits of creativity. By installing The Wall and placing it at the center of the production process, Kropac has been able to create incredibly engaging and immersive content, with a level of detail like never before. Samsung’s extensive experience creating visually impactful displays resulted in the perfect outcome for Kropac – with the ambition now to go bigger and better. Global sports and entertainment broadcasting leader reimagines broadcasting studio for major events
Located in Latin America, one of the largest sports and entertainment broadcasting companies made the decision to invest in a project that would reimagine the way they deliver sports across the globe. Soccer is particularly popular in the Latin American region and with the upcoming 2021 Copa America and 2022 FIFA World Cup, it was an ideal moment to move forward with the project. In order to create a realistic and impactful broadcasting studio, the customer purchased 600 Samsung IER indoor LED displays for installation. The IER displays support curved, L-shaped and pivot installation types, providing flexible design options and ensuring the displays are tailored to the needs of the studio. In addition, Dynamic Peaking technology, Inverse Tone Mapping and In-Depth Colour Mapping enhance content to optimum peak brightness levels, improve contrast, prevent shine or glare, all while delivering accurate expression of colours for an engaging view experience.
Leading Dubai broadcaster invests in largest Middle East project to date
Embarking on the largest project in the Middle East to date, a major Dubai-based broadcasting company made the decision to replace its large video wall display installed in the station studio, positioned behind the anchor. As the main screen used by the anchor during broadcasts, it is important that it provides the latest technology and best picture quality. The Samsung indoor LED screen installed was 22 meters in size and provides a bezel-less design, so the video wall appears even larger, while increasing screen immersion for viewers. Not only does the screen appear larger, but it also enhances the studio environment and provides exceptionally clear image quality with excellent contrast ratio. The screen is also flexible and can be used for a variety of purposes, providing the broadcasting company with a dynamic and engaging display solution.
Latin American State Government upgrades control room with innovative Samsung display solutions
In Latin America, a State Government organisation looked to upgrade the monitors within its control room for optimal efficiency. Prior to the upgrade project, team members within the control room typically used two monitors, 20 to 27-inches in size. These monitors were often connected to one PC with a thick bezel between the two screens, impacting visibility and hindering work. By installing Samsung’s CHG9, a large monitor with a 32:9 ratio, team members are now able to display multiple screens at once on one monitor and control them separately while viewing at the same time. This multitasking function allows other tasks to be completed while viewing the screen, increasing efficiency and effectiveness. The 1800R curvature of the monitor also ensures users can see the entire screen at a glance, enabling efficient work from any position within the control room environment.
