Mass Storage for Windows PC

You can connect your mobile device to your PC and access it as you would an external hard drive.

Connecting as a Mass Storage Device

  1. From the Home screen, touch Applications > Settings Settings Shortcut > More... > USB utilities, and touch Connect storage to PC.

  2. Plug the supplied USB cable into your PC and connect it to your device.
  3. Note: To quickly access and activate USB Mass Storage mode, open the Notification Panel by swiping your finger from the top of the screen to the bottom, and touch USB connected.
  4. Touch Turn on USB storage. If necessary, touch OK on the Turn on USB storage message.

  5. A window will automatically open on your computer. Click the Open folder to view files option.
  6. Copy files between your PC and your device using the folders on the left side of Windows® Explorer. You can transfer any type of file to or from your device's USB storage or an installed microSD card™.
  7. To exit USB mass storage mode, touch Disconnect storage from PC before you disconnect the cable from either your computer or your device.
  8. Disconnect storage to PC
